Rubber

Rubber is a common crafting material in Generation Zero. Rubber can be found by looting different types of containers and Firebirds, recycling different sizes of EMP Cells, Car Battery Emps and Hacking Darts as well as silencers, scopes, and vision module attachments. Rubber is used for crafting Car Battery Emps and Hacking Darts and it isn't used for building.

Obtaining Rubber

Recycling

Ammunition

• Recycling ammunition does not provide any rubber as a yield.

Equipment

• Rubber can be obtained from recycling the following:
  • 10 Small EMP Cells yield 2 rubber.
  • 10 Medium EMP Cells yield 4 rubber.
  • 10 Large EMP Cells yield 8 rubber.
  • 1 Car Battery EMP yields 2 rubber.
  • 1 Hacking Dart yields 5 rubber.

Attachments

Silencers

• Rubber can be obtained from recycling silencers with the amount increasing by one for each crown rating. A silencer with a 1-crown rating yields 2 rubber, whereas a 5-crown silencer yields 6.

Vision Modules

• Vision Modules yield rubber depending on how many cycles it has:
  • One Cycle Vision Modules yield 2 rubber.
  • Dual Cycle Vision Modules yield 4 rubber.

Scopes

• Similarly to Silencers, rubber can be obtained by recycling scopes, with the amount increasing by one for each crown rating. A scope with a 1-crown rating yields 2 rubber, whereas a 5-crown Scope yields 6.

• 10 rubber is used for crafting a Hacking Dart.

• Rubber is used for crafting the standard to exceptional Ballistic Plate Armor for the companion.
