Strategy[]
- The Pansarvärnsgevär is a one hit sniper rifle, that can kill prototype and military runner class machines in one shot.
- It’s commonly recommended to obtain and use the experimental Pvg variant, since it has double the damage and penetration making it a suitable weapon for long ranged encounters.
- Using FMJ rounds is buffed up from AP rounds, due to FMJ having higher damage to components.
Trivia[]

The real life Pansarvärnsgevär 90/Barrett M82A1M.
- The Pansarvärnsgevär 90 is based on the Barrett M82A1, evident via presence of a fitted lengthened accessory rail, rear grip and monopod socket. It can be differentiated from the later M107 by its receiver mounted rear sight, visible folding front sight.
- The designation of the Barrett M82A1 in the Swedish army is the "Automatgevär 90C".
- The word "Pansarvärnsgevär" translates to "Anti-tank rifle” in Swedish.
- The muzzle break for some reason has 3 vent holes while the real life M82A1 muzzle break and all other barretts only comes with only 2 vent holes.
- The real life M82 has more holes above the bipod than the one in-game.
- The standard magazine capacity for a Barrett M82A1 is 10 rounds. A 12 round magazine was tested during Operation Desert Storm but proved to be unreliable and scrapped from production. As of 2024, an American firearms company Fostech Inc debuted a fully functional 20 round drum magazine for the Barrett rifles.
- The Pansarvärnsgevär 90 is the most powerful sniper rifle in-game, with a single shell of AP being able to remove armor on most of the machines (except some components on Harvesters, Hunters and Tanks) and it’s the mostly used by Generation Zero's community.
- The Experimental Pvg 90 generates a constant buzzing/humming sound if it is being carried as your primary weapon. The sound effect becomes louder when looking through the scope.
