The real life N60/M60

  • The N60 is based off the US M60 Light Machine Gun. A light weight general purpose machine gun that saw it famous use in the Vietnam war. The M60 was eventually phased out for more better LMGs and the GPMGs. With those being the KSP90 and Kvm 59 Machine Gun which are both are featured in-game. The US military still uses the M60 by the modernized M60E6.
    • The N60 has it’s bipod extended that you cannot use.
  • The default magazine size is incorrectly 50 rounds when it actually be 100 rounds.
    • When using a N60 extended mag resembles the M2 browning 50 caliber ammo container.
  • The M60 (N60 named In-game) is missing the rear iron sights making it difficult and less practical for players to aim.
    • Curiously the N60’s icon indicates that the N60 has rear sights but in game the rear sight are missing.
  • The N60 7.62x51 NATO’s ammo belt remains even though the N60 ammo count is apparently empty. This issue is seen on the Kvm 59 Machine Gun Kvm 89 Squad Automatic Weapon and the PM-71.
  • The charging handle is in the incorrect spot. It is located in the ejection port when it should be at the most bottom of the gunfire.
    • The player also doesn’t charge back the bolt when empty. This is because the real life M60 requires the charging handle to be locked back in order to properly close the top-cover, as reloading with the handle forward would not allow the top-cover to be fully closed.
  • The N60 is incorrectly classified as a light machine gun rather than the correct classification “general purpose machine gun”.
