strategy[]

  • The Möller PP is most effective against low-health enemies like Runners or Seekers. It’s a good fallback weapon with quick handling and decent accuracy at close to mid-range. Though its damage output is low, it can be useful in situations where more powerful ammo is scarce. Due to its small magazine size, managing shots carefully is key, especially when dealing with multiple enemies.

Trivia[]

  • The Möller PP handgun is based off the Walther PPK, which is a smaller version of the Walther PP with a shorter grip, barrel and frame, and reduced magazine capacity.
  • The Walther PP was adopted and used by Swedish police forces until the mid-2000s, which is more than likely the reason as to why it is featured in the game.
  • The Möller PP is the first weapon you come across.
  • When the Möller is empty-fired, the player does not rechamber using the slide lock, but rather pulling the slide.

Real-life conterpart//history[]

The original PP was released in 1929. It was designed for police use and was used by police forces in Europe in the 1930s and later. The semi-automatic pistol operated using a simple blowback action. The PP was designed with several safety features, some of them innovative, including an automatic hammer block, a combination safety/decocker and a loaded chamber indicator.

All members of the PP series share a common takedown procedure. The trigger guard is hinged; by pulling the trigger guard downwards, the slide can be drawn backwards past the normal stopping point, lifted clear of the slide rail, and then guided back forward to clear the barrel. With the slide removed the blowback spring around the barrel is free and can be removed as well.
