Explosive

Explosive is a munitions crafting material used in Generation Zero. It is used to craft almost all ammunitions, except for Electromagnetic Pulse(EMP) rounds for the Recoilless Rifle, Electromagnetic Pulse(EMP) grenades for the G79 Grenade Launcher, napalm for the Resistance Flamethrower and resistance arrows and flare arrows for the Resistance Heavy Bow. It cannot be obtained from machines but it can be found by looting green army boxes or from recycling certain explosive equipment.

• players will receive 2 Explosives after recycling a batch of almost any one-crown ammunition:
  • 5 .243 Soft Point(SP) or FMJ rounds.
  • 5 .270 SP or FMJ rounds.
  • 20 .32 ACP Hollow Point(HP) or Full Metal Jacket(FMJ) rounds.
  • 10 .44 HP or FMJ rounds.
  • 3 .50 BMG FMJ or AP rounds.
  • 5 12ga Birdshot, Buckshot or Slug rounds.
  • 25 5.56 FMJ or AP rounds.
  • 15 7.62 FMJ or AP rounds.

  • 7.62 Tar or Shock rounds.

Best source of Explosive from recycling ammo by minimum batch

1. When trying to get the most Explosive from recycling the least amount of bullets, HEDP, Smoke rounds, LG-7V HE rounds and G79 Smoke grenades are the best sources.
2. 50 BMG FMJ and AP rounds are the second best source.
3. 12ga Birdshot, Buckshot and Slug, .243 SP and FMJ, and .270 SP and FMJ are all the third best options.

• 5 Tick Pods yields 4 explosive.
• 1 grenade yields 1 explosive.
• 1 Smoke Grenade yields 1 explosive.
• 1 Ammo Pack yields 2 explosive.
• 1 Remote-controlled Explosive yields 2 explosive.
• 1 Remote-controlled Tick yields 4 explosive.
• 1 Portable Homing Turret yields 25 explosive.

Best source of Explosive from recycling equipment by minimum batch

1. When trying to get the most Explosive from a single piece of equipment the Portable Homing Turret, the Ammo Pack* and the Tick Pods are the best sources.**
2. Remote controlled ticks and remote controlled explosives are both second best sources.**
3. Smoke Grenades and Grenades are both the third best source.**

*If the player holds a Pansarvärnsgevär 90 and uses the ammo pack for its two uses the player will get 20 .50 BMG FMJ or AP rounds. 20 .50 BMG rounds. 20 BMG rounds can be scrapped for 6 lead/24 steel and 12 explosives. This is much more efficient than breaking down an Ammo Pack.

**When recycling equipment for explosives the best sources are smoke grenades and grenades because they are easier to find than the other equipment.
