strategy[]

  • The COM-10 is great for taking out small enemies at close range with its high fire rate and large spread.
  • It excels in tight spaces, making quick work of groups of fast-moving targets. Its inaccuracy at mid to long ranges limits its effectiveness, so it’s best to use when up close. Be mindful of its rapid ammo consumption and reload during safe moments to avoid running out mid-fight.

Trivia[]

MAC-10

The real-life COM-10/MAC-10

  • The COM-10 is based on the MAC-10, a small, compact, blowback operated machine pistol/submachine gun, with it’s high rate of fire comes from it’s blowback operated, open bolt.
    • The COM-10’s rear sight is cut in half.
  • The word “COM” in COM-10 is short for the word 'compact'.
  • The COM-10 is main bolt and size for that matter, is bigger than the real-life variant MAC-10's 10.7 inches with the stock folded or completely removed.
  • Despite the MAC-10 being a machine pistol in real life, in-game its incorrectly classified as a Submachine gun.
  • The COM-10's stick magazine is incorrectly 32 to 50 rounds, whereas the Mac-10’s stick magazines can only 16 rounds.
  • The COM-10 uses an open bolt mechanism where the gun's is cocked back at ready, with no round in the chamber regardless of a loaded magazine. This mechanism is shared with the M/46 "Kpist" SMG (Carl Gustav m/46).
