Generation Zero not only has a wide array of weapons but also has many attachments to compliment your weapons, these range from scopes, to suppressors and magazines.
Scopes[]
Scopes are attachments that can be added to weapons in Generation Zero. They have a variety of tiers that they can be found at, ranging from Dilapidated to Special. They also come in different zoom levels, the most common of which is 1-4x.
Scopes are typically used on Rifles so they can be used at range more effectively, however, there are scopes for SMGs, Shotguns and Handguns.

Vision Modules[]
Vision modules are a high-tech scope upgrade that the player can acquire to enhance their combat capabilities in various situations.
These modules can only be equiped on scopes, not including the 2x ACOG, and binoculars.

- Low Light Vision Amplifier (LLV)
This module amplifies light to allow visibility in low light situations.
- IR Vision Processor (IRV)
This module allows viewing in the infrared spectrum.
- Object Penetrating Vision Modulator (OPV)
This module allows limited viewing of objects through solid obstacles.
- Dual Mode Low Light / IR Module
This module can be switched between two modes: low light and IR vision.
- Dual Mode Low Light / OPV Module
This module can be switched between two modes: low light and object penetrating vision.
- Dual Mode IR / OPV Module
This module can be switched between two modes: IR and object penetrating vision.
- Full Vision Module
This module can be switched between three modes: low light, IR and object penetrating vision.
How to get[]
Vision modules are acquired by destroying the various machines found in Generation Zero.
Since these modules are actual components of the machines the player has to be careful when engaging them if they desire to have a higher chance at getting them.
They are usually located in what would be the machines "head" so by avoiding that when engaging them generally increases your chance at getting one.
If you do find yourself still struggling with acquiring them, you can pick up the skill Mechanic which allows you to salvage up to 25% damaged components with the first level and 50% with the second.

Here you'll find all the various modifications that you can do to your weapons barrel, this can be a Compensator, Silencer or Extension. They all have a pro or con to them, some are obvious others are not
