The Älgstudsare Hunting Rifle is a Hunting rifle that appears in the game Generation Zero.
It is a hunting rifle capable of firing semi-automatic.
The Älgstudsare takes .270 rounds and can hold a magazine of 4 rounds.
The in-game description for the weapon is "A powerful hunting rifle using the .270 caliber. Slower and weaker than assault rifles."
Pros[]
- Long Range
- Perfectly capable of One-Shotting a Runner and a hunter if lined up properly
- Ammo is somewhat plentiful
- Amazing at stripping away armor from machines. Although it does not penetrate deep, a few shots to a prototype or military class tank's knees will remove the armor plate.
Cons[]
- Can only chamber 4 bullets, as opposed to the Meusser Hunting Rifle's 5
- Low armor penetration- near useless against larger machines

strategy[]
- The Älgstudsare Hunting Rifle excels at long-range precision, perfect for taking down enemies like Hunters and Runners.
- Its high damage and accuracy make it ideal for sniping, but the slow rate of fire limits its close-range use.
- Aim for weak points to maximize its effectiveness.
- The Experimental version acts like artillery, dealing more damage the longer the shot is in the air. It’s hard to aim but devastating against large enemies at long range.
Trivia[]
- "Älgstudsare" (lit. "moose bouncer") is an umbrella term for bolt-action hunting rifles normally chambered in 9.3x62mm Mauser, .308 Winchester, .30–06 Springfield or 6.5x55mm Swedish. The term "studsare" comes from the German word Stutzen (crop, trim, cut short), meaning that hunting rifles were slightly smaller with shorter barrels than their military counterparts.
- The Experimental variant of the Älgstudsare hunting rifle has the affect of acting like a artillery. With the shots at close range being very weak and shots at longer range doing massive damage both directly and indirectly.
- The Experimental variant has a fixed grenade launcher sight and fixed muzzle device which acts like a suppressor.
- The Experimental variant comes with a reduced magazine capacity of 3 rounds instead of the typical 4.
